Suddenly, a sirens ring behind you. For whatever reason, the law is after you. And they are after you on Genesect. They fire TECHNO BLASTS toward you as you jet past cars and augmented passersby.[break][break]

Or, perhaps, it was them who had done it.

Still, the simulation had fitted Leilani Kalawai'a and herself on the back of a CYCLIZAR, a familiar presence in this strange world. Though, it was sailing through the sky with a jet pack. She had to admit -

The thrill of the air in her ash and soot hair brought a dangerous grin to her face. Camellia steered the dragon onward, until sirens began to screech behind them.

"Bordel de merde!" the Kalosian woman cursed. "Even the cops in the future are annoying. Looks like we're gonna have to make an escape. Might wanna hang tight," she called back to Leilani Kalawai'a.

In a flash of data integers and some other computer words, Camellia and her had appeared on the back of a lone Cyclizar. With the other woman driving, it put the Alolan carefully holding onto her on the back, arms wrapped around her midsection. The environment around them was Hoen, or some kind where everything was destroyed eons ago.

"Didn't think the future would look so...ugly."

Mahina would die if she had one of these.

Just as they continued to enjoy the flight, sirens were born from the abyss behind them. She turned her head back just in time to duck under an incoming TECHNO BLAST. More came behind them, sending the two into evasive maneuvers. She braced herself against the woman's back, looking back at their pursuers.

"Cut through the alleyway or lose 'em on the highway! I'll try and buy us some space."

[attr="class","cam"]All things considered, it would be a bit romantic if they weren't being chased by police — or if Leilani Kalawai'a was single. Not that Camellia Lemaitre knew, but there was a devilish smirk on her face when the woman held her arms around her midsection.

"Better hang on. Things are about to get bumpy."

She steered the CYCLIZAR, veering it to a sharp right as they disappeared into an alleyway. Several of the cops flew past them, though a couple managed to make the turn with them.

"Out of the way!" she shouted, moving past floating carts of peddlers trying to make a black market deal in the shadows.

Scuttle the Inkay had been called out as she latched onto Leilani's shoulder. Despite the assurance that she wasn't going anywhere, Lei did sacrifice a hand around Camellia's waist to make sure her Pokemon wasn't going to fall off. A PSYBEAM was fired off to make the police stay back and not try to ram into them, or something.

Camellia veered into the alleyway and managed to lose most of the cops chasing them, though a couple had followed them. People around them hawked their goods, while the two criminals raced past and parted the sea of vagrants. Some people dove out of the way while others watched in amazement.

"Think there's a food cart down there?" Lei smirked, popping her head on Camellia's shoulder, "You're pretty good. Have a history biking?"

There were a hoard of GENESECT pointing their weapons at them, the police cornering them from the front and behind. Camellia cursed Kalosian slang beneath her breath, the CYCLIZAR coming to a screeching halt.

"You ready for a fight?"

Though the fight never happened. Instead, the city went black. Panicked cries descended around them, followed by confused and distressed sounds from the cops. This was their chance.

"Follow me." Camellia grabbed Leilani Kalawai'a's wrist and dismounted, charging into the darkness.
